This level meter is ideal for measuring moisture in limestone or foundry sand.
They measured the moisture content of sand using infrared rays or heat drying methods.
But the infrared method measures the surface of the sand, so there are errors in the measured values and it was expensive.
And In-line measurement was not possible with the heating drying method.
Our meter has solved those problems.
They measured electrical conductivity (the reciprocal of conductivity or resistance) with this device.
They were able to determine the moisture content of limestone or foundry sand by accurately measuring electrical conductivity,
because the water content and electrical conductivity of limestone or foundry sand are proportional.
